The Iraqi Nights was originally published in Arabic as لليالي العراقية (Layālī al-ʻIrāqīyah) by the Mesopotamia Press (Baghdad) in 2013. While it is fairly easy to find copies of the English translation (published in 2014) the Arabic original is much harder to come by. I contacted the poet, Dunya Mikhail, and she was gracious enough to send me the Arabic version of the lines quoted by the OP, which I show below.
